Integrations and digital systems

The tools you already run, finally talking to each other.

We connect payments, messaging, accounting, and CRM systems so information moves automatically, no one re-keying the same record into three places.

Data synchronisation

Most businesses do not have a systems problem. They have a re-keying problem.

An order lands in one system, gets typed into the accounting package by hand, and gets typed again into a spreadsheet for the delivery team. Each transcription is a chance for a mismatch, and the mismatches are usually found by a customer before they are found by staff.

Integration work is rarely glamorous, but it is where the actual cost of running a business without automation shows up: in wasted hours and in numbers that quietly stop agreeing with each other.

How we help

Four things change once we take this on. None of them are exotic; all of them are the difference between a system that runs and one that is merely up.

One source of truth

Data flows from where it is created to where it is needed, instead of being copied by hand between systems.

Built for the real failure modes

Retries, reconciliation, and alerts for when a call fails, not a happy-path integration that breaks quietly.

Reconciliation you can audit

A record of what moved where and when, so a mismatch can be traced rather than argued about.

No vendor lock-in

Integrations are documented and owned by you, not hidden inside a black box only we can open.

Capabilities

For the technical reader comparing coverage. We would rather list this plainly than claim everything.

Payments

Messaging

Business systems

Where a requirement sits outside this list, we will say so and help you find someone who does it properly rather than learning on your system.

Two ways to engage

Most organisations start with the first and move to the second once the setup is stable.

Project

A defined set of connections built and tested, with a clear before-and-after for the process it replaces.

Suits: a specific reconciliation or duplication problem with a known cause.
Scoped: fixed deliverables, a written plan, and stated assumptions.
Billed: fixed fee against the plan, with any change agreed in writing first.

Monthly retainer

Ongoing ownership of the integration layer as systems, volumes, and vendors change.

Suits: a business with several live integrations that need active maintenance.
Scoped: named integrations, monitoring commitments, and response times.
Billed: a monthly fee, reviewed as the estate changes. Cancellable with notice.

Figures depend on the size and shape of the estate. We quote after the first conversation, in writing, before any commitment.

How delivery runs

The question this answers: what happens between the enquiry and the point where this is off my desk?

01

Map

We trace where data currently moves by hand, and where it should move automatically instead. Usually a week.

02

Plan

Sequence, failure handling, and cost in writing, with the assumptions stated so you can challenge them.

03

Build and test

Built against real data with the failure cases exercised, not just the successful path. Weekly written updates.

04

Run or hand over

Either we take on monitoring the integration, or we hand over with documentation and a walkthrough.

Who this usually suits

A good fit

A business re-entering the same data into two or more systems by hand

A finance team reconciling mobile money, card, and bank statements manually

A company whose CRM and accounting package do not talk to each other

An organisation that has noticed numbers quietly disagreeing between systems

Probably not us

A single system with nothing to connect it to yet

A team wanting a general-purpose integration platform bought off the shelf: sometimes that is the right answer, and we will say so

Anyone expecting a certified compliance outcome; we build to your stated obligations but do not certify

Questions we are asked

Which payment providers do you work with?

Mobile money providers including M-Pesa, and the major card processors operating in the region. We will confirm coverage for your specific provider during the first conversation.

What happens when an external API is down?

Retries, queuing, and alerting are part of the build, not an afterthought. We design for the failure to be visible and recoverable, not silent.

Can you reconcile data that is already out of sync?

Usually yes, as a first phase of the project. We would rather fix the historical mismatch in the open than build automation on top of numbers nobody trusts.

Do we need to change our existing systems?

Rarely. Integration work is designed to sit alongside what you already run, not to force a replacement of systems that work.

How do you handle sensitive data like payment details?

Access is scoped narrowly, secrets are managed properly, and we follow the security practices required by the providers involved. We will document exactly what the integration can see.
