Engineering
Infrastructure Engineer
Design, deploy, and manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure for our clients. You will work across Linux, networking, and cloud platforms — primarily AWS and Azure — and be the person clients rely on when the foundation needs to hold.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years managing Linux servers in production environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure (certifications a plus, not required)
- Comfortable with networking fundamentals: DNS, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing
- Scripting in Bash or Python for automation
- Strong written communication — you will write documentation clients actually use
Engineering
Full-Stack Software Engineer
Build and maintain custom web applications and integrations for our clients. You will work across the full stack — from database design to frontend — and be involved in scoping work, not just implementing tickets.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend work
- Experience with Node.js or Python on the backend
- Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Ability to estimate work, communicate trade-offs, and push back when needed
Client Success
Technical Account Manager
Own the relationship between Edgecloud and a portfolio of our clients. You will be the bridge between technical delivery and business outcomes — ensuring what we build matches what clients actually need, and that they feel well-supported.
What we are looking for
- Experience in a client-facing role at a technology company
- Ability to understand technical detail well enough to explain trade-offs clearly
- Organised and proactive — you do not wait for problems to escalate before acting
- Based in Nairobi with availability to meet clients in person
- Strong spoken and written English; Swahili an advantage
